Joao Pedro Chermont

João Pedro Chermont Crema arrived at Santos through the club's academy after a single youth season at Noroeste, and by November 2022, still a teenager, he had already signed his first professional contract there. The wait to see him on the pitch did not last long: he made his senior debut in March 2024 and quickly became a fixture at right-back, starting regularly across 36 appearances that year between Série B and the Campeonato Paulista, with two goals to his name. That campaign ended with Santos winning the Série B title and returning to the top flight, a promotion Chermont had a real hand in.

The following season proved harder. His appearances for the first team dropped sharply as new signings arrived, and he found himself pushed down the pecking order, spending much of 2025 with the under-20 side rather than in Santos's matchday squad. He did pick up a winners' medal at that level, taking the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 title with the youth squad, but regular senior football had slipped out of reach.

A path back into it came in February 2026, when Santos sent him out on loan to Coritiba until the end of that year. Chermont has featured nine times in Série A for his new side, though without a goal or assist to show for it so far.

There is also a mark on his record from the international stage: he was part of the Brazil under-17 squad that won the South American U-17 Championship in 2023, an early sign of the pedigree that took him through Santos's ranks in the first place.
