About the player
Luka Savatović learned the game in Zagreb, moving through NK Zagreb, NK Trnje and NK Jarun before joining NK Lokomotiva on a free transfer. He made his senior debut for the club in the 2023/2024 season.
Rather than stay on the fringes of the first-team squad, Lokomotiva sent him on loan to NK Sesvete for the 2024/2025 campaign, where he played regularly in the Prva NL and made 15 appearances. He returned to Lokomotiva to join the senior squad for the 2025/2026 HNL season.
Back at the club, Savatović has featured as the goalkeeper during Lokomotiva's run to the semi-finals of the 2025/26 Croatian Cup, a campaign that ended with defeat to Istra 1961. He has won a cap for Croatia's U21 side, even though he has yet to be called into the senior team.
