About the player
Nesta Zahui came through Paris Saint-Germain's academy, joining the club in 2015 and working his way up from the youth sides to the U19s by 2020. In August 2021 he left for Feyenoord's U21 squad on a free transfer before moving on again in the summer of 2023, this time joining Grenoble Foot 38's reserve team on a free transfer.
His senior debut came on 30 August 2024, when he was brought on as an 88th-minute substitute in a 1-1 draw with Pau FC in Ligue 2. It was the start of a first taste of first-team football: across the 2024-2025 season he made ten appearances for Grenoble, eight of them in the league and two in the Coupe de France. His name is attached to one goal that season, scored in the Coupe de France against AS Cannes on 21 December 2024.
The progress was rewarded on 9 May 2025, when Zahui signed his first professional contract with Grenoble, tying him to the club until June 2028. A right-footed defender, he had earlier been capped by France at U16 level.
