About the player
Patrick Brey wears the captain's armband at Botafogo-SP.
His time at Cruzeiro also included loan spells at Coritiba and Ferroviária, but it ended in March 2021 with a mutual contract termination as the club's financial crisis left him owed wages. He moved on to CSA, winning the Campeonato Alagoano that year, then spent a season in Italy with Triestina before returning to Brazil with Paysandu, where he lifted the Copa Verde in 2022.
Botafogo-SP first took him on loan from Paysandu in 2023, a spell that also included a loan exit to Água Santa before the move to Botafogo-SP was made permanent. He left for Grêmio Novorizontino ahead of the 2025 season, then returned to Botafogo-SP on a free transfer in January 2026. A left-footed defender, he has not been capped by Brazil's senior national team.
