Pedro Lima

Brasília-born Pedro Lima spent his formative years at Palmeiras, joining the academy in 2016 and working his way through a youth setup that won the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior twice, along with the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20, the Copa do Brasil Sub-20 and the Supercopa do Brasil Sub-20. That run of youth silverware earned him two caps for Brazil's under-20 side. His senior debut came in the Copa Libertadores, sent on as a substitute away to Bolívar in a match Palmeiras lost 3–1, and a single senior appearance was all he added in two years on the books there. What followed was a spell learning the game abroad. A loan at Norwich City brought no senior football, though he did find the net for the club's under-21 side in a 5–0 win over Charlton Athletic. A second loan, to NK Osijek in Croatia, gave him the regular football he had been missing, with 26 appearances and two goals in Primeira Liga colours. That experience convinced AVS to sign him on a free transfer in July 2025, and the defensive midfielder repaid the move with 26 appearances and four goals in his one season at the club, wearing the number 8 shirt. The form was enough to attract Sporting CP, who completed his transfer in May 2026 on a contract running to 2031, with an €80 million release clause attached.
