About the player
Ronaldo Julio broke into professional football in Colombia as a right-sided defender, joining Barranquilla FC for a brief spell in 2023 before moving on to La Equidad. He plays right-footed, in keeping with his usual position out wide in defence, though some match reports have noted him using his left as well.
His time at La Equidad coincided with a significant change at the club: in late 2025 the side underwent a rebranding, becoming Internacional de Bogotá. Julio stayed on through that transition, continuing his career with the newly named club rather than seeking a move elsewhere. He remains with Internacional de Bogotá in the Colombian Primera A for the 2026 season.
So far in the 2026 campaign he has yet to register a goal or an assist. He has not been capped by Colombia's senior national team, and his career to date has not brought any individual honours or league titles.
