About the player
Salzburg-born, Perić came up through the RB Fussballakademie before starting his senior career at FC Liefering. From there his path took him through Germany with VfB Stuttgart II, where he spent three seasons in the 3. Liga and Regionalliga Südwest, before returning to Austria with FC Wacker Innsbruck and then Wolfsberger AC, splitting time between first-team and reserve football at both clubs.
His move to Croatia in 2021 marked a turning point. Across four seasons at HNK Šibenik, Perić made well over a hundred league appearances. He was part of the squad relegated from the top flight in 2023, and stayed to help the club respond immediately, winning the 2. HNL title the following season to earn an instant return to Croatia's top division.
That body of work took him to HNK Gorica in July 2025, on a free transfer running to 2027. At youth level, Perić represented Austria from the U16s through to the U21s, including sixteen caps and a goal for the U17s, though full international recognition has not yet followed.
