The Cizre Hamit Özalp Stadyumu holds a thousand people. The football section only came together in 2019.

That changed with the 2026 Şırnak 1. Amateur League title, which lifted the team into the Profesyonelliğe Geçiş Ligi. Reaching the first round of the Ziraat Türkiye Kupası this season, with a tie against Hakkari Zapspor, gave the footballers a rare shared spotlight with their more decorated clubmates, whose Balkan Cup win in 2022 remains the club's biggest trophy in either sport.

Green and red have been the club's colours since it turned professional in structure if not yet in league status, and under them the football team has built its sharpest edge locally rather than nationally. Cizre Dicle Spor is the name that matters most on the fixture list: the Cizre Derby is the one match in the calendar where the size of the stadium stops being the story.
