Erding

An artificial ice rink went up in Erding in 1978, and a hockey department followed the same year under TSV 1862 Erding. The team has since changed identity four times — Erding Jets from 1994, plain TSV Erding from 2002, and Gladiators from 2007. The Jets GmbH went insolvent in 2002, and the club walked away from the Oberliga in 2015 rather than carry its debts further.

The best runs came either side of those resets. Runner-up finishes in the 2. Bundesliga in 1997 and 1998 marked the club's highest level. The senior team's silverware since has stayed regional: the Landesliga in 2004 and 2016, the Bezirksliga in 2003, and the Bayernliga in 2025, the last of those good enough for promotion back to the Oberliga.
