The Maseru Derby against Matlama FC and against Lesotho Defence Force gives Lesotho Mounted Police Service FC its sharpest fixtures, two meetings with the city's other big institutional sides. Everything else about the club, known to supporters as Simunye, sits in a smaller frame: a ground called PTC Ground Europa that holds a thousand people.

The domestic cup came later and in a different shape — the 2008 Independence Cup settled by penalties after a goalless final against Lioli FC.

Sekhoane Moerane went from between the posts at PTC Ground Europa to the Lesotho national team. On the touchline, Mochini Matete, known as 'Seephephe', ran the side from 2020 and built up the academy before his death in 2022.
