Ravshan Kulob

Whoever coaches in Kulob inherits a fixture list that stayed put. Ravshan have never moved city, never played a home match anywhere but the Kulob Central Stadium, and the ground holds 20,000.

The club that plays there now is not quite the club that started in 1965. It was Ansol Kulob then. In 2003 the name became Olimp-Ansol; two years later the sponsors' words were dropped and Ravshan was what remained. Between those two changes came a cup final in 2003, lost — after 1993.

The trophy that mattered had already arrived, in 1994, when Ravshan took the Tajik Cup.

Then 2012. Ravshan won the championship, and won it again in 2013, and added the Super Cup at the start of that second season. There was a third bronze in 2015, and after that nothing until the current decade brought the cup back in 2020, silver in 2022 and 2023, and a second Super Cup in 2023.

In 2024 the club redrew its badge and put blue alongside the two older colours.
