Tallinna Kalev II

Tanel Tamberg played thirty matches for Kalev II in 2021, scored one goal, and then moved up to the first team.

The name has moved almost as often as the players. Kalev renamed the team JK Tallinna Kalev U21 in 2017, though in the 2024 and 2025 seasons it reappears in the records as Tallinna Kalev II.

Before Esiliiga B, there were two other title runs — the IV liiga in that debut season, and the III liiga the year after. In Esiliiga B itself, the closest the side has come to going up was a pair of second-place finishes, in 2017 and 2023, either side of two thirds, in 2020 and 2022. Ats Purje took charge of the men's team for the 2024 campaign, which the club spent a level higher, in Esiliiga A, finishing ninth.

Home matches are played not on the main pitch at Kalevi Keskstaadion, which holds 12,000, but on the artificial surface beside it — a ground that seats 270.
