Championship Women (Belarus) 2026/27

The Belarusian Women's Volleyball Championship, officially known as the Higher League, operates at Level 1 of the national pyramid. It serves as the premier professional competition for women in Belarus, organised by the Belarusian Volleyball Federation. The tournament sits above the First League and typically features eight to ten teams in its top division.

The structure comprises a regular season played in a double round-robin format, followed by playoffs. In recent seasons, the top team from the regular season often receives a bye to the semi-finals, while the next six teams compete in quarter-finals. Play-off series are determined by best-of-3 or best-of-5 formats depending on the stage. Promotion and relegation are managed through transition matches between the bottom teams of the Higher League and the top teams of the First League.

Minchanka is the most successful club, having won 15 titles as of the 2025/2026 season. This includes an unprecedented streak of 11 consecutive championships from 2015/2016 to 2025/2026. Atlant Baranovichi dominated the 1990s and early 2000s with eight titles, and Zhemchuzhina Polesya won five consecutive titles between 2011 and 2015.

A notable feature distinguishing the women's league is the participation of top clubs in foreign competitions. Minchanka participated in the Russian Championship during the 2025/2026 season. The league structure underwent a significant reform in 2007, introducing the Division A and Division B split. Eight clubs compete in the current campaign: A. Baranovichi Women, Iskra Women, Kommunalnik Grodno Women, Lileya Women, Minchanka 2 Women, and Mogilev Women.
