The Belgian Cup stands as the premier domestic knockout tournament for volleyball in Belgium. Officially known as the Beker van België or Coupe de Belgique, it is organised by Volley Belgium. Established during the 1967–68 season, the competition provides a pathway for clubs across the country to contest a second major title.
Distinct from the national league system, the Cup is open to teams from all divisions. This inclusion allows lower-tier provincial sides to face top-flight professionals, creating opportunities for unexpected results. While the league determines the national champion and secures European qualification spots, the Cup serves as a secondary prestige trophy. The tournament follows a straight knockout format. Early stages involve single-leg matches, whereas the Quarterfinals and Semifinals are played over two legs. The competition concludes with a single-match Final held on neutral ground.
Sponsorship has seen the event rebranded over time. Since 2022, it has been known as the Lotto Cup, following previous iterations as the EuroMillions Cup and the bpost Cup. Despite these commercial titles, the official name remains the Beker van België.
History shows clear dominance by specific clubs. In the men's competition, Knack Roeselare holds the record with 17 titles. VC Maaseik follows with 14 victories. For the women's division, Asterix AVO Beveren, including its predecessor entities, leads with 19 titles. Dauphines Charleroi holds six. There is no direct promotion or relegation link between the Cup and the League, and the tournament operates independently of the league structure.
