The Copa ACLAV, officially the Copa Argentina de Voleibol Masculino, operates as the second-tier national club volleyball competition in Argentina. Organised by the Asociación de Clubes Liga Argentina de Voleibol (ACLAV), the tournament functions primarily as a pre-season or intermediate knockout event for clubs competing in the top-flight Liga de Voleibol Argentina (LVA). The format brings together eight to twelve teams, initially split into groups before progressing to a single-elimination final four stage, which is hosted at one venue.
Participation is restricted exclusively to LVA members, meaning there is no promotion or relegation linked to the cup. The primary prize for the victor is qualification for the Supercopa Argentina. While the competition is distinct from the LVA league structure and the football Copa Argentina, it has established its own history since its inception in 2005. During the 2019 and 2020/2021 seasons, the tournament was known as the Copa RUS Argentina due to sponsorship arrangements.
Historical dominance has varied over the years. Ciudad de Bolívar secured four consecutive titles between 2006 and 2009, while UPCN Vóley Club accumulated five victories across two decades. Ciudad Vóley has emerged as a recent powerhouse, winning titles in 2017, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. In the latest final, Ciudad Vóley claimed the trophy by defeating Defensores de Banfield, confirming their status as the current holders. The competition remains a significant fixture for Argentine volleyball clubs, offering a distinct pathway to continental play without altering the domestic league standings.
