EMV (Estonia) 2025/26

The **Estonian Men's Volleyball Championship** operates as the top-tier professional league for men's volleyball in Estonia. Organized by the Estonian Volleyball Federation, the competition stands as the apex of the national pyramid, sitting above the Meeste I Liiga. The league runs on a seasonal cycle that determines the domestic champion through specific playoffs.

A defining characteristic of the championship is its integration with the Baltic Volleyball League. For the 2024–2025 season, the Estonian clubs competed in a home-and-away round-robin format that served as the regular season component for the regional tournament. This structure allows teams to compete for two distinct honours within the same campaign. After the regular phase, the top domestic sides advance to internal playoffs to decide the national title. Simultaneously, all participants engage in a Final Four tournament aimed at crowning the Baltic champion.

The league currently features a mix of established local sides and sponsored entities. Clubs such as Barrus Voru, TTU, Saaremaa, Parnu, and BIGBANK Tartu compete for supremacy. The format typically accommodates between five and eight teams, allowing for flexibility based on regional participation levels.

Historically, the competition traces its origins back to 1925. Over nearly a century, it has become one of the oldest continuous championships in the country. While the landscape of winners has shifted, Tallinna Kalev remains the most decorated side with twenty titles. Pärnu VK follows closely with approximately eleven victories, and VK Selver Tallinn holds ten. In the most recent completed season, Bigbank Tartu secured the domestic crown. Promotion and relegation links to the second division ensure movement within the Estonian volleyball hierarchy.
