About

LNSV Women serves as the premier domestic club competition for women’s volleyball in Peru. It is the highest level of play for female teams within the national sporting structure.

The tournament is organized by the Federacion Peruana de Voleibol (FPV). It carries the sponsorship title Liga Peruana de Vóley Betsson and was formally renamed Liga Peruana de Vóley Femenino in 2025. This iteration of the league began in the 2002–2003 season, following a period where the sport was restructured after previous administrative issues. It stands apart from the men's equivalent and the separate Copa Nacional de Vóley.

The competition structure features a split stage format. Teams play an initial single round-robin phase. The top eight clubs then enter the 'Octogonal por el Título' to determine playoff seeding, while the lower half plays in the 'Cuadrangular por la Permanencia' to avoid the drop. The leading four clubs after that stage proceed to a knockout playoff consisting of quarterfinals, semifinals, and a final. In the 2024–25 edition, Alianza Lima secured the championship.

Movement between divisions is regulated by promotion and relegation rules. The champion of the second tier, the Liga Nacional Intermedia de Voleibol Femenino (LNIV), earns automatic promotion. The runner-up of that lower division enters a 'Revalidación' tournament against teams from the top tier to decide the final qualifying spots. The lowest-placed team in the LNSV Women is directly relegated to the second division.

Performance in the LNSV Women also determines qualification for continental competition. The league acts as the primary pathway for Peruvian clubs to enter the Sudamericano de Clubes, the South American club championship. The competition currently involves eight teams, including Alianza Lima W, Atenea Women, Circolo Women, Deportivo Soan Women, Geminis W, and Kazoku No Peru Women.
