National League Women (Kazakhstan) 2025/26

The Kazakhstan Women's Volleyball National League operates as the premier professional forum for female athletes within the country. Established in 1992, the competition emerged following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, with its inaugural season concluding in 1993. It is administered by the Volleyball Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FVRK). The league sits at the apex of the national pyramid, positioned above the Higher League (Vysshaya Liga), which serves as the second tier.

For the 2025/2026 season, the format involves eight clubs competing in a regular season structured as a quadruple round-robin. Each team plays every other side four times, comprising two home and two away matches. The top four teams advance to the playoffs, which are conducted as best-of-three series where the first to two wins claims the title.

Zhetysu (Taldykorgan) stands as the most successful club, holding 11 titles. This includes a dominant streak of eight consecutive championships from 2008 to 2015, alongside recent victories in 2020 and 2025. Rahat (Almaty) and Altay (Ust-Kamenogorsk) each hold seven titles. Rahat recorded the longest consecutive run of seven titles from 2001 to 2007, while Altay won four in a row from 2016 to 2019 and three from 2021 to 2023.

A unique feature of the women’s structure is the Women's Super Cup of Kazakhstan. This annual match pits the league champion against the national Cup winner, a fixture absent from the men's competition. While the men's and women's leagues share identical structural formats and governance under the same federation, they operate as separate entities with distinct clubs and venues.
