Liga Women (Serbia) 2025/26

The Serbian Women's Volleyball Superliga remains the premier domestic competition for female athletes in the country. Established in 2006 after the dissolution of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, the league operates under the authority of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia (OSSRB). It currently features twelve teams competing in a structure defined by a double round-robin regular season followed by a decisive playoff phase.

During the regular campaign, every club plays each other twice, once at home and once away. This format ensures that the top eight sides advance to the championship playoffs, while those finishing lower enter relegation battles. The path to the title is rigorous: quarter-finals and semi-finals are contested over a best-of-three series, culminating in a final decided by a best-of-five match. Meanwhile, the eleventh-placed side faces the runner-up of the First League in a relegation playoff, and the twelfth-place team suffers direct descent.

Historically, the league has seen dominance from a small group of clubs. Since its inception as an independent Serbian competition, OK Crvena Zvezda and OK Vizura have shared the record for most titles, each claiming five honours. Vizura secured five consecutive championships between 2014 and 2018, whereas Crvena Zvezda won four straight from 2010 to 2013 before adding another in 2022. More recently, Jedinstvo Stara Pazova claimed back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024, while TENT Obrenovac secured their second title following the 2025/26 season.

Victory in the Superliga grants access to European tournaments, specifically the CEV Women's Champions Cup or the CEV Cup, depending on the final standings. The league is commercially known as the Banka Poštanska štedionica Superliga due to sponsorship by Post Savings Bank.
