Zeleznicar Women

Železničar Lajkovac's women wear the same blue and white as FK Železničar, born the same railway-town lineage, yet the two clubs run on separate tracks: the footballers trace back to 1927 and kept the nickname Želja for themselves, leaving the volleyball club, founded on 8 June 2008, to make its own name through results rather than through a title inherited from the men's side.

Those results arrived quickly for a club barely into its second decade. Železničar has won the Serbian Championship twice, in 2018/19 and again in 2024/25, and taken the Serbian Cup three times, in 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2020/21, adding two Super Cups along the way. The club stayed a fixture in cup finals throughout, reaching the Cup final again in 2021/22 and 2024/25 and the Super Cup final in 2018, 2022 and 2025 even in years it did not win the league.
