Elfsborg saw off Enskede Women 5:0 in the Elitettan's regular season round 14 on Friday. The visitors took control early and never let go, turning what started as a tight opening spell into a comprehensive victory.
S. Jensen opened the scoring in the fourth minute, and the home side quickly found themselves in trouble. By the seventeenth minute an own goal had doubled the deficit, and Enskede had not won since before their last fixture. The visitors kept their heads through the opening half despite the pressure.
Enskede found a way back into it briefly, but V. Lopez restored the two-goal cushion in the forty-third minute. H. Gunnarsson then struck twice in quick succession, landing his first in the fiftieth and adding another a minute later. Things came to a head when a yellow card arrived in the fifty-seventh, and the visitors were already looking ahead.
Substitutions followed in waves. Enskede brought on M. Liwendahl and L. Bogren alongside T. Pingani and L. Haggkvist in the sixtieth minute, with further changes for T. Skoglund and V. Lopez by the seventieth. Elfsborg responded with their own adjustments, bringing on S. Jensen and H. Gunnarsson at the seventy-seventh mark, before adding A. Frank a few minutes later.
Two more goals arrived late on, one in the seventy-ninth and another in the eightieth, though the providers did not name the scorers. The result leaves Enskede ninth with 19 points from 17 games, while Elfsborg sit third with 38 — five points behind the leaders and closing in on a deal for automatic promotion.
