A. Garibyan

Garibyan came through Rodina Moscow's academy, working his way up through Rodina-M and Rodina-2 before a loan to Spartak Kostroma in the first half of the 2025–26 season gave him regular first-team football in the FNL. He scored five goals there, and when the loan was ended by mutual consent in February, with Spartak Kostroma turning to more experienced forwards, he returned to Rodina for the second half of the campaign.

He was part of the Rodina squad that won the Russian First League that spring, taking the club into the Premier League for the first time. Garibyan made his top-flight debut against Rostov. Coming off the bench away at Zenit Saint Petersburg, he scored twice in the second half to turn the game and hand his side a 2:1 win, a performance that earned him both Player of the Match and Player of the Week honours. He became the first player to score twice for a visiting side after coming on as a substitute at the Gazprom Arena, and joined a short list of Armenian forwards, alongside Eduard Markarov and Yura Movsisiyan, to have scored twice in a single game against Zenit.

Born in Moscow, Garibyan has represented Armenia at youth level, from the under-17s through to the under-21s. A tall, right-footed centre-forward, he has not needed a transfer fee at any stage of his career so far, having progressed entirely through Rodina's own system.
