A. Sakhonchik

Ales Sakhonchik is a product of the BATE Borisov academy, having joined the club's system in 2023. He made his senior debut for BATE in the Belarusian Cup that June, working his way through the reserve side, BATE-2, where he made 33 appearances and scored three goals in the First League. His breakthrough into the Premier League came in August 2025, adding four league appearances and a goal, alongside four outings in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

In February 2026, BATE sent Sakhonchik out on loan to Molodechno in the First League. He made 12 league appearances, scored two goals and provided two assists, plus a further outing in the Belarusian Cup, before he returned to BATE that June.

At youth international level, Sakhonchik has represented Belarus at various age groups. He scored once in five caps for the under-16s between 2021 and 2022, then stepped up to the under-17s, where he scored twice in eight appearances, including strikes in a friendly against Uzbekistan and in a Euro 2023 qualifier against Armenia. He also took part in the 2023 Development Cup with the under-19 setup.

A central midfielder by trade, Sakhonchik has yet to add a senior trophy to his career. BATE lifted the Belarusian Cup in 2026, but with Sakhonchik on loan at Molodechno for the first half of that campaign, he did not feature prominently in the run to the title.
