Aaron Bibout

Aaron Bibout took an unusual route into European football, leaving the Kadji Sports Academy in Cameroon as a teenager to join the LA Galaxy academy in the United States. He made his senior debut for Ventura County FC, the Galaxy's second team, and scored his first professional hat-trick against Vancouver Whitecaps II. Loan spells followed at Detroit City FC and FC Tulsa before he moved on.

In March 2025, Bibout switched continents again, joining Swedish club Västerås SK. The move paid off quickly: he scored six goals in twelve appearances, and he was signed by Belgian side KRC Genk that July for a reported fee of around €2.2 million and a contract running to 2029.

Since arriving at Genk, Bibout has spent most of his time with the club's reserve side, Jong Genk, in the Challenger Pro League, where he has scored 10 goals in 16 matches. That scoring rate has not gone unnoticed: reports in 2026 linked him with a move to Trabzonspor and Strasbourg.

Bibout has also featured for Cameroon at youth level, having been called up to the under-17 side in 2021.
