Abdulyussuf Adedeji Adeniyi Oshilaja

Deji Oshilaja wears the number 23 shirt at Mansfield Town after joining on a free transfer in June 2024, and he has since made 75 league appearances for the club, scoring three goals. He came through the academy at Cardiff City, signing his first professional contract in April 2012, though a league debut for the club never materialised. It was on loan at AFC Wimbledon in 2014–15 that he first made his mark, winning the Natalie Callow Memorial Trophy as the club's Young Player of the Year.

A permanent move to Wimbledon followed in July 2017, and the defender grew into a key figure, taking the captain's armband during the 2018–19 season. He was named Player of the Year for 2017–18 and left in May 2019 having made 67 league appearances and scored three goals.

Spells at Charlton Athletic and Burton Albion followed. At Charlton, signed in July 2019, he made 42 league appearances before his release in 2021. At Burton, where he joined that June, he again became a regular starter and was handed the captaincy, going on to make 115 league appearances and score five goals across three seasons before leaving in 2024.

Oshilaja has never won a senior cap for England or Nigeria, despite expressing an interest in representing Nigeria in both 2021 and 2025.
