Alwande Benedict Roaldsøy

Alwande Benedict Roaldsøy grew up playing for Drøbak-Frogn, making his senior debut there in 2019 with 15 league appearances before moving abroad to join Atalanta's under-23 side in 2023. On 11 January 2024 he signed a three-year contract with Molde FK, having already trained with Atalanta's senior squad. He had two loan spells, first at Sandnes Ulf in 2024, where he made ten league appearances, then at Hamarkameratene in 2025, where he found his scoring form with four goals in 19 outings. Back at Molde across 2024 to 2026, he made 16 league appearances and scored once.

On 20 January 2026, Roaldsøy signed for Sparta Rotterdam on a four-and-a-half-year contract. By August 2026 he had made six league appearances for his new club.

Roaldsøy holds South African citizenship through his mother alongside his Norwegian passport. He scored on his way through the age groups, including a goal for the under-18s, and was part of the Norway under-19 squad that reached the semi-finals of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2023, scoring against both Iceland and Greece in that campaign. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
