Brice Wembangomo

Wembangomo's career has run on relocations. Born in Kinshasa, he moved to Norway as a child and grew up through the Tveter IL youth system before Sarpsborg 08 gave him his senior bow, a single Eliteserien appearance in September 2014. Kvik Halden, where he scored six goals in 26 games in the 2. divisjon, then Fredrikstad, before a permanent move to Jerv in 2017 finally gave him a settled run of first-team football, 57 league appearances over two seasons.

He then moved to Sandefjord, where three seasons and 59 league appearances as a right-back rebuilt his reputation enough to earn a free transfer to Bodø/Glimt in January 2022. At Bodø/Glimt he won the Eliteserien title in both 2023 and 2024, and it was during this spell, in June 2023, that he earned his only Norway cap, coming off the bench in a 3–1win over Cyprus in Euro 2024 qualifying.

In March 2025, with his contract at Bodø/Glimt drawing to a close, Wembangomo moved abroad for the first time, joining BK Häcken for a fee of around €1 million. He has continued in the same right-back role at Häcken, and by August 2026 had made 23 league appearances for the club, extending a career built less on early promise than on steady accumulation of experience across Norway's divisions.
