Carlos Eduardo

Half a season at Felgueiras 1932 was enough to change the direction of his career. In 2024/25 Carlos Eduardo scored 10 goals in 13 Liga Portugal 2 matches and finished as the division's second-highest scorer; on 24 January 2025 he signed for Gil Vicente. Portuguese media put the fee at €850,000, with some estimates running to €900,000, and the contract was signed until 30 June 2028.

The route there was less direct. He came through Brusque in Brazil and won the Recopa Catarinense with the club in 2020. In January 2021, aged 18, he moved to Portugal to join the under-19 side at Nacional, where he spent around seven months. In August 2021 he joined Marítimo B, the club's reserve and under-23 team, and stayed there until the summer of 2023.

A move up to the Marítimo first team followed in January 2024, but it lasted weeks. By February he had left as a free agent for Felgueiras, then in the second tier — the club where the goals arrived.

The first months in the Primeira Liga were quieter. He played seven matches for Gil Vicente across the remainder of 2024/25 and did not score. In 2025/26 he has 15 league appearances and two goals.
