About the player
Clinton Antwi came through the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana before joining FC Nordsjælland in January 2018, and he made his Superliga debut for the Danish club that July. A loan spell at Esbjerg fB in the Danish 1st Division brought him 22 appearances before he returned to Nordsjælland, and in January 2022 he moved to KuPS on a free transfer.
The switch to Finland turned into the making of his career. Antwi established himself as a regular at left-back and became a key figure as KuPS won the Veikkausliiga title in 2024 and 2025, adding the Finnish Cup in 2022 and 2024. His form in 2024 earned him a place in the Veikkausliiga Team of the Year. By late 2025 he had made 89 league appearances for the club, and KuPS extended his contract through the 2026 season, underlining how central he has become to the side.
Antwi plays as a left-footed left-back. He has not yet made his senior debut for Ghana, though he has said he would welcome a call-up to the national team.
