Doru Cristian Andrei

Doru Andrei came up through the Politehnica academy in his home city and stayed with the first team until the summer of 2022, when he made the move to FC Voluntari.

Voluntari let Andrei go on a free transfer once his deal expired, and Sepsi OSK moved to sign him, tying him down on a two-year contract. No fee changed hands.

The international side of his career has so far stayed at youth level. Andrei was a regular for Romania's under-19 side, making thirteen appearances between 2021 and 2022 and featuring at that summer's European Championship for the age group. He then stepped up to the under-20s, where Romania competed in the elite qualifying round for the European Under-21 Championship; Andrei made eight appearances there and scored once, across 2022 to 2024. A senior call-up has not followed.

An attacking midfielder by trade, right-footed, Andrei now joins a Sepsi squad in Sfântu Gheorghe.
