Driton Camaj

Driton Camaj's career reads as a run of free transfers between clubs in five countries, the longest of them the five years he spent at Kisvárda in Hungary. He joined the club from Montenegro in August 2020 and became a fixture there, making 115 league appearances and scoring 19 goals before leaving in January 2025; in his final full season, 2023–2024, he was the club's joint top scorer across all competitions with seven goals. A right-footed winger, he began at Budućnost Podgorica, the club where he later won the Montenegrin First League title in the 2016–2017 season, after brief early spells at Inter Zaprešić in Croatia and at Dečić.

After Kisvárda, the moves came in quick succession: to Kecskemét, where he scored five goals in 16 appearances, then to FC Astana in Kazakhstan, where he made eight appearances and scored once. He arrived at Novi Pazar in January 2026, again on a free transfer, and scored seven goals in 17 matches for the Serbian club before moving on to Muğlaspor in Turkey.

Camaj has represented Montenegro at senior level, earning 32 caps and two goals for the national team as of October 2025. His first international goal came in a friendly against the Czech Republic on 20 June 2023, and his second in a UEFA Nations League match against Wales on 9 September 2024. He also came through the Montenegro youth setup, with caps at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level.
