About the player
Dayen Geerts joined the club's youth setup in 2019 and progressed steadily through the age groups, moving up to the under-19 side in the summer of 2024.
That step coincided with his first taste of senior football. During the 2024/2025 season, still a teenager, Geerts was included in the first-team squad and picked up appearances as one of the club's prospects, wearing the number 47 shirt. The move paid off: in July 2025 he signed his first professional contract with Helmond Sport, turning years in the academy into a formal deal with the club that raised him.
