About the player
Registered with Clube Atlético Metropolitano in Brazil from 2011, the centre-back barely featured for the club itself, instead cycling through loans at FC Lustenau 07, SC Austria Lustenau, Gainare Tottori, Tochigi SC and Kashiwa Reysol.
That search paid off at Kawasaki Frontale, where a loan spell in 2016 turned into a permanent deal the following year. Eduardo won the J1 League title in both 2017 and 2018 with the club.
From there he moved through Matsumoto Yamaga, Sagan Tosu and Yokohama F. Marinos, spending three seasons in Yokohama before his contract expired at the end of 2024. He joined V-Varen Nagasaki on a free transfer in January 2025.
Eduardo's only representative honour outside club football came in 2014, when he was called up for a single appearance with Brazil's under-23 side.
