Edgar Eyffer Lastre Mercado

Eight goals in 21 appearances have made Lastre the leading scorer at UCV Moquegua in the 2026 Peruvian Primera División season — one of them in the Copa de la Liga, where he has played twice.

He came out of Guayaquil and turned professional with Rocafuerte in 2018, scoring three times in 20 matches over two seasons. Emelec took him into their youth set-up and he made his first-team debut in November 2020. He stayed until early 2024 and finished with four goals in 45 appearances. One of them came in the Copa Sudamericana against Danubio on 28 June 2023.

Then came a stretch of short stays. He crossed to Peru in early 2024 with Comerciantes Unidos, where he scored twice in 13 matches, and by June was back in Ecuador on loan at Técnico Universitario. He played 13 times there — ten in the league, three in cup competition — and did not score. In January 2025 he joined Libertad as a free agent and appeared four times. A move later that year to Unión Magdalena in Colombia brought nine appearances.

He signed for Moquegua around the turn of 2026. His career totals stand at 125 matches and 17 goals. He has not been capped by Ecuador, and has won no team or individual honours.
