Fernando Martínez Rojas

Fernando Martínez Rojas, nicknamed "Chapa", began his career at Club Olimpia in 2014 before a loan spell at Deportivo Capiatá the following year and a free move to General Díaz in 2016. His path since has run through several Paraguayan clubs, including Sportivo Luqueño, Nacional and Resistencia SC.

In July 2022 he crossed to Argentina to join Club Atlético Sarmiento, staying until January 2024. A loan to General Caballero JLM followed, though the club's push in the 2025 División Intermedia ended with the title going to Rubio Ñu rather than Martínez's side. He left General Caballero in early 2025 for a fresh challenge in Brazil, signing for Athletic Club of Minas Gerais in the Série B, before a loan move to Pouso Alegre later that year.

Martínez returned to Paraguay in January 2026, this time putting on the shirt of Rubio Ñu — the very club that had denied him the second-division title a year earlier. He made 20 appearances for the side and scored once. That spell proved brief: in June 2026 he moved on again, this time to Chile, signing for Deportes Concepción on a free transfer until the end of the year.
