Florian Flecker

Every senior move Florian Flecker has made has been a free transfer. He left Kapfenberger SV for Wolfsberger AC in May 2017 — a permanent move up from the 2. Liga to the Bundesliga — and from there each step to a new club came with no fee attached: Hartberg in July 2018, Union Berlin in May 2019, Würzburger Kickers in August 2020, Hartberg again in February 2021, then LASK on 30 June 2021.

The Berlin year is the gap in the middle of that run. Flecker signed for 1. FC Union Berlin when his Hartberg contract expired, and in a season at the club he made no senior appearances at all. He went to Würzburg the following August and returned to Hartberg six months later, back in the league where he had built his name.

He came to the professional game through Styria. His first club was SVU Murau, where he spent eight years from 2002, before moving into the Kapfenberger SV academy in 2010. Four years there took him into the reserve side, and he played for the seniors from 2015 alongside those reserve appearances — the two overlapping until he left in 2017.

Austria capped him at U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 level. A senior call-up has not followed.

At LASK he was part of the squad in 2025–26, the season the club won both the Austrian Bundesliga and the Austrian Cup. The right winger, who works off the right foot, had by then been at the club four years.
