Hairo Eduardo Timaná Alvarez

In 2022 Hairo Timaná took a route few Peruvian second-division players take: he left the country for Colón C-3 FC, a third-tier side in Panama's Liga Prom, and spent the second half of the year there. He was 22, a free agent, and the move followed spells at ADT and Pirata rather than any transfer fee.

The defender came out of AD Tarma, where he was on the books from 2019 until his exit in 2021. In May that year he joined Pirata FC in Peru's Liga 2, making nine appearances and scoring once. The Panama detour followed, then a return home in March 2023 with CD Alfonso Ugarte de Puno, again in the second tier — 17 matches, no goals.

February 2024 brought him to FC Cajamarca. That season the club reached the final of the Copa Perú and lost it to EGB Tacna Heroica, who took the title. Timaná played three matches in the competition. Cajamarca's run still earned them a place in Liga 2.

By then he had moved on. In February 2025 he signed for Deportivo Binacional, his first club in Peru's top flight, and made ten appearances with one goal. The stay was short: he was back at Cajamarca by July, adding 11 matches and a goal over the rest of the season.

Every one of those moves was made as a free agent, with no fee disclosed. Timaná is right-footed.
