Ihor Kharatin

Kharatin came through Dynamo Kyiv's academy, having joined the club at nine years old after starting out at FC Mukachevo, and won the Ukrainian Youth League with the club's youth side in the 2012/13 season. He made his senior debut for Dynamo in May 2014 against Zorya Luhansk, coming on as a substitute. A loan spell at Metalist Kharkiv followed before he moved to Zorya Luhansk on a permanent basis, where he became a fixture in midfield, scoring seven goals in 64 league appearances and winning the Ukrainian Cup. A €600,000 move to Ferencváros in January 2019: three consecutive Hungarian championships and a goal in the Champions League. Legia Warsaw paid €1 million for him in 2021, though his first-team involvement there was limited to 20 league appearances, with time also spent in the club's reserve side. A loan to DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda and a brief stay at Kolos Kovalivka followed before he returned to Ukraine's top flight with Veres Rivne in January 2025, where he wears the captain's armband. Internationally, Kharatin passed through every Ukrainian youth level from under-16 to under-21 before making his senior debut in September 2020 in a UEFA Nations League match against Spain. He went on to win four caps that year, including appearances against France, Poland and Germany, and was named in Ukraine's squad for Euro 2020, though he did not feature in any of the tournament's matches.
