About the player
Pozo spent five years in Real Madrid's academy before Manchester City took him at twelve. He never made a competitive first-team appearance for City, but he was part of the squad that won the 2019 FA Community Shield and the 2019/20 Premier League 2 title with the under-23s.
A loan to FC Eindhoven brought his first taste of senior football: 28 appearances and three goals in the Eerste Divisie.
Pozo left City for good in 2023, joining HNK Šibenik on a free transfer. Over two seasons there he made around 60 appearances, work that carried him to HNK Gorica on a two-year deal in July 2025. His first season at Gorica was his most productive yet, with 32 appearances and four or five goals in the 2025/26 campaign.
Despite representing Manchester City's youth sides in the UEFA Youth League, Pozo has not been capped by any Spanish youth national team.
