About the player
In 2014 he moved to Spain to join the academy at Granada CF, though his professional debut came back home, with Itagüí Leones in 2016. He holds Colombian and Spanish citizenship.
Watford FC signed him in July 2018 and then loaned him out for five seasons without interruption: Marbella FC, SD Ponferradina, Deportivo La Coruña and Racing Santander.
That changed in Warsaw. Elitim joined Legia Warszawa on a free transfer on 27 June 2023, on a deal running to June 2026, and for the first time settled somewhere long enough to build a record: 108 appearances, six goals and three assists. He won the Polish Cup in 2024–25 and the Polish Super Cup in 2023 and 2025.
The left-footed forward has not been capped by Colombia.
His contract at Legia ran to its end. In May 2026 he left as a free agent for Bursaspor in Turkey.
