Jamie Knight-Lebel

Jamie Knight-Lebel grew up in the Bristol City academy after arriving from Southampton's youth setup, working through the U18, U21 and U23 levels and captaining the U21 side across two seasons. Bristol City rewarded that progress with a first professional contract, later renewed twice, most recently through to 2029. The path to first-team football, though, has run entirely through loans elsewhere.

The first of those took him to Crewe Alexandra for the 2024–25 season, where he made 38 appearances in all competitions and scored three league goals, though the campaign was also marked by a red card against AFC Wimbledon. He then moved to Swindon Town, where the loan proved his most productive spell yet: 35 appearances, a goal, and end-of-season recognition as both the club's Young Player of the Season and Most Improved Player. From there he joined Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership, wearing the number four shirt.

Knight-Lebel's rise has not been confined to club football. Born in Montreal, he made his senior debut for Canada as a substitute in a CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal against Suriname, and was subsequently named in the squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He has since earned senior caps for his country. Earlier in his career, his performances in the Championship were enough to see him shortlisted for the division's Apprentice of the Season award.
