About the player
Julius Madsen's route into professional football ran through some of Denmark's more prominent youth set-ups before he settled at Næstved Boldklub. Having come through spells with FC Midtjylland and Sønderjyske at youth level, he joined Næstved in July 2020, working his way through the club's U19 side before breaking into the senior squad in July 2022.
He spent two seasons with Næstved's first team before his move to AC Horsens in January 2024, on a deal running until the end of 2027. Danish reports at the time described the transfer as a significant sale for Næstved, though the fee itself was not disclosed.
Madsen, born in Næstved, now continues his career at AC Horsens.
