Junxian Liu

Yichang-born, Liu Junxian joined Shandong Luneng Taishan's youth setup in October 2010, and his time there included exchange spells in Europe and Brazil, before a permanent move to Portugal's FC Vizela in 2019. He spent the 2020–2021 season out on loan at Pedras Salgadas in the Campeonato de Portugal.

Liu returned home in July 2021, signing for Wuhan Yangtze River. That move ended abruptly in January 2023, when the club was dissolved because of financial difficulties, leaving him a free agent. He found a new home at Guangxi Pingguo Haliao that August, before moving on again on a free transfer to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in February 2024, making his debut for the club the following month.

At youth international level, Liu has been a regular fixture for China. He was capped nine times and scored once for the under-16 side in 2018, added two appearances for the under-18s the following year, then stepped up to the under-20 team in 2021, where he made 19 appearances and scored a goal. He continued through the age groups with the under-23s between 2022 and 2024, a spell that included involvement in the 2024 AFC U23 Asian Cup.
