Kamal Miller

Kamal Miller began playing football at the age of four, coming through Malvern SC and North Scarborough SC in Ontario before joining Vaughan Azzurri. From there he took the college route, spending three seasons at Syracuse Orange, where he made 78 appearances and scored seven goals, while turning out in the summers for K-W United FC and Reading United AC.

Orlando City SC picked him 27th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, and he made his professional debut that March, going on to make 28 appearances for the club. A move to CF Montréal followed in December 2020, where he became a regular, playing 61 games and scoring three goals. In April 2023 he signed for Inter Miami CF, where he made 22 appearances.

Miller has represented Canada since making his senior debut against Cuba at the 2019 Gold Cup, a match Canada won 7-0. He has made 52 appearances for the national side without scoring. In 2022, he was named to the MLS All-Star squad.

In January 2024, Miller signed a three-year deal with the Portland Timbers, with an option to extend through 2027.
