About the player
Kerfala Cissoko arrived at Rodina Moscow in January 2026 with a scoring record built almost entirely in Scandinavia. The Guinean forward's most productive spell came at Umeå FC, where over two seasons he scored 33 goals in 58 matches in the Swedish Ettan, a return that brought him the Ettan Norra Golden Boot in 2024 and helped the club up into the Superettan.
That form followed him to Finland. Signed by FF Jaro on a free transfer in March 2025, Cissoko scored 14 goals in around 25 league matches in the Veikkausliiga that season, numbers that put him among the competition's leading scorers. The move to Rodina Moscow came on a free transfer as well.
The step up to Russian football has so far been a more gradual process. Cissoko has made eight appearances in the FNL for Rodina, scoring once, alongside single outings in the Russian Premier League and the Russian Cup, though his contract in Moscow runs until the end of 2027, giving him time to find his scoring touch again.
Cissoko has represented Guinea at Under-17 level, without yet adding senior caps to his record.
