Kiko

Eighteen years at one club, from the age of five to the summer he left: Kiko — Francisco Miguel Teixeira Domingues — grew up entirely inside Benfica's academy, moving through the U19, U20 and U23 sides before the B team.

His senior debut came on 12 August 2022, away at Tondela, when he came on in the 70th minute of a 1–1 draw. He stayed with Benfica B for three seasons — 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 — and finished with 57 appearances. The one goal arrived late, in that final campaign.

He also played for Portugal at under-19 level. A senior call-up has not come.

On 2 July 2025 he joined Moreirense, who took 50 per cent of his economic rights at no cost — no transfer fee changed hands, with Benfica keeping the other half. The contract runs to 30 June 2029. He wears number 27.

He was born in Lisbon in 2002.

One note for anyone searching his record: the honours sometimes attached to the name — including a Cypriot league title — belong to a different Kiko, Francisco Manuel Geraldo Rosa, born in 1993. Domingues has no individual awards to his name.
