Landinho

Landinho's career has run almost entirely through the lower reaches of Portuguese football, and his story is one of persistence rather than headline moves. Born in Amarante, he came up through a string of local youth sides — Amarante itself, Boavista, ACD Madalena, Pasteleira, Académico Amarante and Penafiel — before stepping into senior football at Amarante, where he scored once in 28 appearances.

A move to Portimonense in 2013 brought only a single senior outing before a loan sent him to Felgueiras 1932, the club with which he would eventually settle for good. In between, he built a long relationship with AD Fafe across three separate spells between 2015 and 2022, totalling well over a hundred appearances. Spells at GD Bragança, FC Vizela and Amora FC filled out the years in between, each brief but adding to a body of work built almost entirely in Liga 3, the Campeonato de Portugal and Liga Portugal 2.

Since returning to Felgueiras 1932 in 2022, Landinho has become one of the mainstays, passing the 99-appearance mark for the club and contributing five goals and four assists along the way. He has remained a regular figure in midfield through the 2025–2026 Liga Portugal 2 season. He has not collected individual honours or team titles, and international recognition has not come his way, but the volume of football he has played speaks to a career built on reliability rather than a single defining moment.
