About the player

Tiago Leite has never lifted a trophy of note in Portuguese football. At AD Fafe in 2024–25 he finished as top scorer of Liga 3 and was named the division's best forward, with 17 goals in 31 games — the kind of return that got him a move up to Primeira Liga football when FC Alverca signed him after their promotion.

Leite is a Guimarães-born forward who came through the youth ranks at Fafe before moving on to Moreirense and then Vitória de Guimarães, where he progressed as far as the under-23 side. The step into senior football was gradual and mostly built on free transfers between lower-division clubs: Juventude de Pedras Salgadas, and a season with Gil Vicente's reserves, where he scored 16 goals. A spell at Anadia followed, with 7 goals in 26 Liga 3 matches, before the breakout year at Fafe that changed his stock.

His time at Alverca in the Primeira Liga was brief; he left the club in January 2026 and joined Felgueiras 1932 the same month. Since then he has settled into Liga Portugal 2, scoring twice in 18 appearances. It is a quieter return than the numbers he put up in Liga 3, and a reminder that the step up to a higher level has, so far, not come with the same instant impact — his career so far has been built on individual performances rather than team honours.
