Luca Woodhouse

Luca Woodhouse joined Exeter City in June 2025 on a free transfer after his contract at Wycombe Wanderers expired, signing a two-year deal with the option of a third. He had never made a first-team appearance for Wycombe, spending the entirety of his time there out on loan.

Woodhouse came through the academy at Tonbridge Angels, making his senior debut for the club in the National League South before a string of loan spells took him around non-league football: Whitstable Town, Slough Town and Banbury United among them. The most significant of those came at Aldershot Town in the second half of the 2024/25 season, where he became a regular in the back line, made 20 appearances and scored once. Aldershot won the FA Trophy that season, beating Spennymoor Town 3-0 in the final, and Woodhouse was named in the National League's Team of the Week for January 2025.

Before Aldershot, he had also spent time on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge, where he made 16 appearances and scored once, and at Warrington.

At Exeter City, Woodhouse established himself quickly in the first team during the 2025/26 season, wearing the number 3 shirt and being used across the back line at both left-back and centre-back. Left-footed and 188cm tall, that versatility has made him a regular fixture in the side. By April 2026 he had made 31 appearances for the club, scoring once.
