Lukáš Zima

Lukáš Zima's route to a title medal ran through years without a single senior appearance. Genoa held his contract from 2011 to 2021, and for most of that decade he was out on loan — to Reggiana, Venezia, Mantova, Perugia and Livorno — without ever playing for the Genoa first team itself. Livorno eventually made the move permanent in 2019, and Zima built a run of matches there before Genoa took him back on a free transfer in 2020.

It was only after leaving Italy that his career found real shape. A two-year spell at VVV-Venlo in the Netherlands preceded his move to Petrolul Ploiești in 2023, where he became a key player: 12 clean sheets in 39 Liga I matches in the 2023–24 season, the second-best return in the division. That form took him to FCSB in December 2024 for a fee of €250,000 plus bonuses.

Zima made only five league appearances for FCSB, but one of them mattered: a 1–1 draw against CFR Cluj on 23 May 2025 sealed the 2024–25 Liga I title, making him the first Czech goalkeeper to win the Romanian championship. He added the 2025 Supercupa României to that with the club. His contract with FCSB was terminated in June 2026, and he returned to Petrolul Ploiești as a free agent.

At international level, Zima has not been capped by the Czech Republic senior side, though he came through the youth ranks with the national team, including a run with the U21s that took in the 2017 European Under-21 Championship.
